A computational model of visual attention based on saliency maps
In this paper we proposed a model for motion detection in video. The model gives a motion map which is combined with other feature maps to create a saliency map. An attention process was implemented on a computer using this algorithm and the results show that it properly reflects a human observer’s attention process to videos. 2006 Elsevier Inc. متن کاملSports Result Prediction Based on Machine Learning and Computational Intelligence Approaches: A Survey
In the current world, sports produce considerable statistical information about each player, team, games, and seasons. Traditional sports science believed science to be owned by experts, coaches, team managers, and analyzers. However, sports organizations have recently realized the abundant science available in their data and sought to take advantage of that science through the use of data mini...
متن کاملGraph-based Visual Saliency Model using Background Color
Visual saliency is a cognitive psychology concept that makes some stimuli of a scene stand out relative to their neighbors and attract our attention. Computing visual saliency is a topic of recent interest. Here, we propose a graph-based method for saliency detection, which contains three stages: pre-processing, initial saliency detection and final saliency detection. The initial saliency map i...
متن کاملLearning saliency-based visual attention: A review
Humans and other primates shift their gaze to allocate processing resources to a subset of the visual input. Understanding and emulating the way that human observers freeview a natural scene has both scientific and economic impact. It has therefore attracted the attention from researchers in a wide range of science and engineering disciplines. With the ever increasing computational power, machi...
متن کاملMachine learning based Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) Signals Recognition
Introduction: Visual evoked potentials contain certain diagnostic information which have proved to be of importance in the visual systems functional integrity. Due to substantial decrease of amplitude in extra macular stimulation in commonly used pattern VEPs, differentiating normal and abnormal signals can prove to be quite an obstacle. Due to developments of use of machine l...
